MyVPN for Chrome Privacy Policy

MyVPN for Chrome is a browser proxy/VPN extension that lets approved users route Chrome traffic through the MyVPN service after they explicitly click Connect.
Information we collect
MyVPN for Chrome processes only the information needed to provide access to the VPN service:
- exchange type selected by the user, such as OKX or Bybit;
- exchange UID entered by the user for whitelist access checks;
- an extension-generated public key used to identify the device;
- temporary access tickets used for proxy authentication;
- basic service activity metadata such as first seen time, last seen time, last active time, access count, and IP address seen by the service;
- proxy connection metadata technically required to route browser traffic through the VPN service.
Information we do not collect
- We do not collect passwords, payment card data, or private keys.
- We do not read or modify page contents.
- We do not sell user data.
- We do not use user data for advertising or creditworthiness decisions.
How we use information
We use the information above to check whitelist access, issue temporary proxy access credentials, keep the proxy connection working, show service status, troubleshoot reliability issues, and detect abuse or excessive device sharing.
Data sharing
We do not sell or rent user data. Data may be processed by infrastructure providers that host the MyVPN API, proxy, update files, and database. These providers process data only as needed to operate the service.
Local storage
The extension stores the selected exchange, UID, generated public key, connection state, service status, and temporary authentication data in Chrome storage. This is used to keep the extension functional between popup opens and browser sessions.
Retention
Service activity records are kept only as long as needed to operate MyVPN, enforce whitelist access, troubleshoot service issues, and prevent abuse.
User choices
Users can disconnect the VPN from the extension, reset the browser proxy, remove locally stored extension data by uninstalling the extension, or contact us to request removal of service-side device records associated with their UID.
